SCHOOL PRAYER

This is my prayer to thee, my lord - strike,
strike at the root of malice in my heart. (2)

Give me the strength lightly to bear my joys and sorrows. (2)
Give me the strength to make my love fruitful in service. (2)

Give me the strength never to desert the poor or
kneel before the insolent might.(2)

Give me the strength to surrender all my strength to thee my lord(2)
